We know how important and precious your holiday time is so at here at Martins' Lakes we try to be as flexible as possible and offer you the best choice of holiday options.

We are located in the Dordogne region of France and set in 80 acres of beautiful countryside. There is a 3 bedroom holiday cottage (gite) which sleeps 6 people and has fantastic views down over the coarse lake. Free coarse fishing is included with your booking.

There is also the 7 acre Specimen carp lake for which either individual places are available, or you can book the whole lake for your own exclusive use. It is stocked with common carp, mirror carp, grass carp, koi carp as well as big cat fish and black bass.

For a really perfect fishing holiday you can book both the gite and Specimen lake together at a substantially discounted rate.

If you fancy a bit of tench fishing, Jungle Lake is now open and ready for it's first season. Alternatively, if you're not really into fishing, this is also an idyllic retreat for anyone wanting to get away from it all for a while as its a beautiful holiday setting.

We are not exclusively aimed at fishing holidays, there are plenty of other things to do and see in this area of France. We are in the heart of the Perigord region which is renowned for its good food, wine and excellent French markets; surrounded by vineyards, châteaux and historical towns such as St Emilion, Bergerac, Perigueux, Bordeaux etc. On the other hand, you may want to come just to enjoy the lovely surroundings and take advantage of the peace and quiet in which to have a very secluded and relaxing holiday in the south west of France.
